What a Wonderful Day

The sky is brilliant blue. The sun beams down warmly. All is right with the world. What's that you say - its actually a cold, dreary, gray, rainy day - well, you must not be in love. I actually came in to work (on my day off) to make this post, since my home computer is on the fritz. I'm not going to be too long since Harley and Pearl are with me. They just love to ride in my truck. I'm going to add a couple more pictures today. One of Harley and I and one of Pearl taken a couple of years ago.

If you've been reading this blog, you know the drama thats been going on the past few days and I'm happy to say that its behind us. I want nothing more than DKB to be happy and to be with me. I have to say that I've been overwhelmed by the show of support for me by her friends. Thank you. I hope some day that I get the chance to meet you all. I will actually start tomorrow - I've been invited to one of her friend's house to watch the NFL playoffs and have dinner. I'm excited and a little apprehensive. I hope I live up to her expectations.

I've got a three day weekend, thanks to the MLK day holiday. So unless I make another special trip into town, there won't be another post until Tuesday.

Some random thoughts & observations:
* I have a 2004 Suzuki Intruder motorcycle that I love to ride year-round. Unless its raining - like today.
* A friend of DKB & I (at the end of the drama) emailed me that DKB seemed a little "flakey". I emailed her back that "Yeah, that might be true - but she's my flake".
*I like hot, spicy foods. (just like my woman - wink, wink.)
*I lived in New Orleans for 4 years and it is Mardi Gras time. Laissez les bon temps rouler! (for those that don't know French (Let the good times roll!)
*Fat Tuesday falls on Feb. 24th this year. The epic finish to Mardi Gras.
*I work for Mississippi State University. I have a great job with a boss & co-worker that I like & like me back.
*Battlestar Galactica returned last night on the Sci Fi network for its final season. I hate to see this show end, but it is great television drama. If you never seen it, you should check it out on DVD.

Well, I must run. Harley and Pearl will be getting anxious. Again - thanks for all your support.
